Cannabis and Your Medications
People ask us whether cannabis is safe alongside a medication they take. It is a fair question, and it needs someone who knows your medications and your health. That is not us.
What Nevada tells every buyer
Every Nevada dispensary has to give buyers a notice with their purchase, on paper or electronically. One of its warnings reads: "Ingesting cannabis or cannabis products with alcohol or other drugs, including prescription medication, may result in unpredictable levels of impairment and a person should consult with a physician before doing so."

How to ask
Bring specifics: the name and dose of your medication, and the cannabis product's label and certificate of analysis. Our guide to the certificate of analysis shows where each number is.
